The residents of the Focolare house at no 39 Lemsford Village had an inspiring and thought provoking weekend recently,  when they were hosts to a group of 80 Christian and Muslim young adults. The event was entitled “Multiculturalism – Interfaith – Dialogue: #DoYouCare?” and it took place at the Focolare Centre for Unity in Welwyn Garden City.
During the weekend, the young adults involved engaged in workshops on a range of topics including interfaith dialogue, social media and politics and civic engagement.

"I'm very happy to be here”, said 26 year old Mohammed Mozaffari, a member of the Islamic Unity Society from London. “I'm personally interested in interfaith dialogue and was eager to get to know Focolare. Since coming, it has been very refreshing to meet people who are so passionate about living and working for God."

At a more local level, the monthly “Word of Life” group met at no. 39 this week to share their thoughts and experiences on trying to put the words of the Gospel into practice – they also shared in tea and cake!
